Trump Tower Tbilisi unveiled — $2 billion project announced

On the evening of 15 September 2026, officials and partners presented Trump Tower Downtown Tbilisi at Mtatsminda Park, on the former hippodrome site. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said the project would attract about USD 2 billion. The wider complex is expected to cover around 600,000 m². The tower is planned at 62 floors and about 282 metres, which would make it Tbilisi’s tallest building. Completion is targeted for 2031 for the tower and 2033 for the broader development. Named partners include the Trump Organization, Archi Group, Biograpi Living, Blox Group, Finvest Georgia and the US-based Sapir Organization. Design has been linked to Gensler. The mix is luxury residences, retail and dining. Organisers described it as the first official use of the Trump brand in the region. The event drew government and business guests and a video address from Eric Trump. Plans first surfaced in April 2026; the September unveiling fixed the public figures and timetable. For investors this is a market signal that Tbilisi is moving into branded high-rise, not a unit-sales launch. Any future purchase still depends on the contract, the developer and delivery
