Moody’s Revises Silk Road Group’s Credit Outlook to Positive

Moody’s has affirmed Silk Road Group’s B1 long-term Corporate Family Rating and revised the outlook from Stable to Positive. The agency also affirmed the B1 rating on the Group’s US$400 million bonds issued in 2025. According to Moody’s, the outlook change reflects the continued stability of the Group’s credit profile and the potential for further improvement in its financial and credit metrics. The agency considers profitability, debt levels and debt-servicing capacity, cash-flow generation, business diversification, liquidity and access to financing, as well as economic and external risks. Silk Road Group is a Georgian investment holding company with operations in telecommunications through Silknet, hospitality, real estate and energy. Founder and Chairman George Ramishvili said: “We are very pleased to see the Group’s credit rating outlook upgraded, creating new opportunities for our continued growth and development. We expect further positive news in the near future.” A Moody’s rating is an independent assessment of a company’s ability to meet its financial obligations and is widely used by investors, banks and bondholders. The Positive outlook is a favorable signal, while the current rating remains B1. Source: Silk Development / Moody’s
